The Student Government Association is in the final stage of structuring the web site to give access to the entire student body at Malcolm X College . Students will be able to see the mission statement for SGA, hours of operation, upcoming events, important information student’s can use, and monthly news briefs, among other things.
SGA will also promote HIV awareness. In recent days a HIV tent, with certified nurses were on the Malcolm X College campus offering HIV testing for students. Although the HIV tent has left the campus, testing is still ongoing. Neighborhood clinics perform testing ever week on certain days of the week, let’s become more aware of our health.
We are in process of voter’s registration on campus as well. Responses from students are GREAT! Let’s not loose our voice, it is vital; this is another way of sharing our points and views, and taking control of who we want in office. Make your own choice.
