RADIOGRAPHY
The Radiography Program provides knowledge and skill development in the art and science of producing quality films for diagnosis and treatment of disease. Upon completion of this 2-year Associate degree program, the graduate will be eligible to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technology Certification Examination, obtain licensure by the State of Illinois, and become employed as a technologist in clinics, hospitals, physician's offices and industry. Graduates are eligible for employment immediately after completion of all program requirements, certification and licensure. One hundred percent of the graduates find employment within 90 days of graduation. The Radiologic Technologist will be able to continue technology training beyond the normal requirements in the area of biomedical engineering, radio-pharmacology, CT scanning, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, MRI and Special Procedures. The program is fully accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology.

The program provides graduates with a level of preparation to become licensed and certified entry level radiographers, and employment upon completion of all program requirements.

Student Learning Outcomes
Students shall be able to complete the following at a level of 80% or better:
- Complete all course offerings.
- Master affective, psychomotor and cognitive learning experiences in the clinical area.
- Successfully complete the critical and problem-solving labs through case study presentations.
- Pass the final comprehensive examination.
