The following is a checklist of the requirements a Site Provider must meet in order to offer City Colleges of Chicago Adult Education courses at their facility.

1. The Site Provider is a governmental agency or designated as a 501c3 tax exempt organization for at least two years. |
|
2. The Site provider has provided to the College a Certificate of Liability Insurance. |
|
3. The Site Provider is able to offer classes such that students are tested and placed into defined instructional levels according to federal and state guidelines. |
|
4. Classes held at each site are open to all interested neighborhood residents who are at the appropriate level for the class. |
|
5. The Site Provider has identified the Site’s contact person who is responsible for ensuring that the building is opened and classrooms are accessible. Both parties agree to designate one person who is responsible for oversight while classes are in session. |

6. Facilities: The site provider will provide for the safety and security of its students. Specifically |

The Site Provider will provide an accessible, rent free facility which includes classroom(s), restrooms, and secure storage for instructional materials; electricity, and adequate heating, lighting and seating will be provided by the Site Provider at no cost to the College. |

|
The Site Provider will keep the facility in a safe, neat and clean condition. |
| |
|
The room(s) where classes are to be held are conducive to learning. |
| |
|
The site will provide adequate desks and/or tables and chairs, blackboards, lighting, and storage space for books and materials. |
| |
|
The site will provide a safe environment for staff and students. All new sites must pass their most recent fire inspection. |
| |
Possible Additional Services
There are several services that, while not required, would be considered a great benefit in determining if an organization becomes a Site Provider. |
|
Support services and educational support such as daycare during class times, tutoring, and an accessible computer lab. |
|
The availability of one or more computers for students to use during class, and such equipment as a telephone, photocopier, and TV with DVD player for use by the adult educator. |
|
Accessible parking. |
