High School Dual Credit Dual Enrollment Program

How to apply

You can graduate high school and be well on your way toward earning a college degree through the Dual Credit /Dual Enrollment Program at Malcolm X College.

Open to qualifying junior and senior high school students.

Eligibility Requirements
2.5 GPA or higher
90% Attendance Rate


Register in 5 steps

  1. Contact your high school counselor for a Dual Credit/Dual Enrollment Program Application and Parental Permission Form.

  2. Fill out the application and permission form, and obtain your parent’s and counselor’s signatures. The online form above can be saved. You must complete the form then print it.
  3. Bring your completed document to Malcolm X College, either Room 1307 or 1312. Take the college entrance exam. Please plan to spend 2-3 hours. (exam not required if scored 18 or above on ACT)
  4. Meet with a college advisor to review your test scores and determine your eligibility for the program.
  5. Non-CPS students must pay for classes in the MXC Business Office

Friday, Saturday 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM
