Admission Deferment Policy
Tuition deferments allow a student (intending to use financial aid) to register for class based on estimated eligibility, while the financial aid department determines a students official eligibility. Tuition deferments are issued to students who have a completed the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and have obtained an official SAR (Student Aid Report) from the Department of Education. Students must also submit all required documentation to the Financial Aid Office to complete the financial aid file.
Students who have not completed and submitted the FAFSA at the time of registration will not receive a deferment and will need to make payment arrangements with the Business Office.
