Prospective college credit students must complete these steps:
To receive additional information from Malcolm X College apply online
All new students must apply in-person.
- Apply on campus by completing a student data card in room 1502. All new students must apply in-person.
- Meet with an college advisor to determine which placement tests you should take.
- Take the City Colleges of Chicago placement test, which is required of all new students. Students submitting proof of successful completion of college level math, English and reading are exempt from testing.
- Provide proof of address documented by a valid Driver's License, State ID, or Matricula Consular de Mexico ID.
- Have all official transcripts sent to Malcolm X College's Records Office, room 1411.
- Attend a New Student Orientation
