Mission Statement
Malcolm X College’s Continuing Education Department will empower students to cultivate respect for self and others by offering opportunities for life-long personal and social development while establishing and achieving educational, personal, and career goals through a personalized learning model which provides multiple learning environments both within and beyond the classroom.
Goals
- To provide quality, practical, competency-based workforce education programs that are recognized as the best of their kind
- To support and encourage the pursuit of intellectual and personal growth through comprehensive life-long learning course offerings
- Developing programs in a professional manner through needs assessment; program delivery; assessment; and fiscal accountability
- Work with a variety of external agencies and individuals to provide relevant, timely and useful access to learning
- Offering high quality instruction using a variety of delivery formats including online teaching and learning that make education available “wherever and whenever” students require it

Remember, it is important to register early! Registration ends two business days before class begins unless alternative arrangements are made with this office.

MXC employees only:
All Malcolm X College employees and their dependents under the age of 18 are eligible for an employee discount of 25% per Continuing Education registration. Most classes qualify, so if you have questions, feel free to contact our office.
